At Evergreen Cemetery we are proud of our history of service, a tradition reaching back more than 150 years.  Evergreen was founded by some of New Haven's most prominent citizens in 1848 and has been serving the families of the area ever since.  We welcome you to our 85 acres of peace and tranquility.  We invite you to make the decision now that will bring so much comfort to your family later, and to do so in Evergreen's atmosphere of experience and empathy, in an unhurried, stress-free manner. Evergreen is a hometown, non-profit organization. We are run by an association and staffed by professionals who can help you make informed, affordable choices about services, final resting places, memorials, cremation and other details.
