Working with the funeral director

At the time of a loved one's death, we work closely with your funeral director to make sure all the arrangements meet your needs and specifications, and that everything goes smoothly.  If you have not made burial or cremation plans in advance, we meet with you  to help with these decisions, from choosing burial or cremation to selecting and preparing the gravesite.  We then discuss and handle the details with the funeral director, to ease stress and worry for your family.

Planning in advance, an act of kindness

More and more people are making cemetery and burial arrangements in advance, a thoughtful act that reduces stress and eases grieving.  We know from experience that if these decisions are made even a few days before death, the process is less difficult.  Many families, however, choose to make plans months or even years before, when decisions can be made in a clear state of mind, and interest-free, affordable payments are available.

Record keeping

Evergreen Cemetery makes available a library for genealogical research, and our staff is available to help you find family members buried at Evergreen.

Continuous maintenance and grooming of  grounds

We are very proud of Evergreen's park like appearance and we insist on the high standards of continuous maintenance.  With a full-time grounds-keeping staff, grass is always cut leaves are always raked, flowers planted and trees pruned, and snow is quickly removed.

On-site superintendent and staff

You'll find a full-time staff of four professionals to assist you at Evergreen's administrative office, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 8a.m. to noon.
